sorry I haven't spoken to you in a while.

Rather sadly my father in law (Albert) passed away last week.

I've been spending time with my family as we handle the loss and I haven't got to my emails in a while.

Albert was a wonderful man who taught me what it means to treasure a loyal and loving family.

He was married a staggering 52 years. Which is a wonderful achievement.

While I was not there right at the end my wife told me that his wife played him Annie's Song by John Denver.

This was one of his favourite songs that reminded him of her.

I didn't know this song until last week.

It's beautiful with some of the most touching and committed lyrics I've ever heard.

I haven't made a lesson for it yet, but as a tribute to Albert and all that he has done for me and my family I will get this filmed and dedicate it to him.
