Hey , as I write to you I'm watching mist style rain collect on the windows. The sort of rain you find in high Scottish mountains. A quick google search names this rain as Smirr! Great name for it! But on to the guitar thought of the week... Do you ever go back to
challenging song projects? You know those songs you always liked but never quite got to grips with? It could be they were too challenging back then, but after 12 months of progress you can now play a bit more of them. Previous song projects for me are: (+) Classical Gas - Mason Williams (nudge to my student Annie) (+)
Cavatina - Deer Hunter Theme - John Williams (+) Under The Bridge - Red Hot Chilli Peppers I see no issues with doing this. Admitting this is too difficult right now, but further down the line I will be able to play this. Returning to these "song projects" is a healthy way to test your skill and tenacity when learning guitar. So which song
projects do you return to?
Send me a reply and let's talk. Keep on playing, |
